When I finally decided it was time to renovate our home we were still undecided on just how much we wanted to change. We met with Carla and started with the kitchen….then decided that since we were moving out of the house for the renos, we should go ahead and change the flooring, windows, trim and take out a wall! She took the time to get to know how our family used the space, how much we entertained and what we currently liked and what we wished we had. We discussed both form and function since we didn’t just want a beautiful space-it had to be functional as well. She led us in the right direction to source products and assembled colour and product options that suited the space. In the mean time, the trades were moving ahead. We were kept up to date almost daily on what was being worked on and its stage of completion and she was always willing to answer and questions we had. We moved out and 9 weeks later we moved back in and enjoyed Christmas in our beautiful new space! Thank You Carla and Carrington Properties

Down sizing made easy !!! Moving from a large home to a condo was an enormous endeavour . Meeting Carla Devlin was to make one major part very easy. Our 2 bedroom , 2 bathroom, open concept condo unit has been nothing but ideal. Carla has been a pleasure to deal with right from the beginning , letting us have input on design and choosing interior amenities. Her attention to details has made this condo feel like home immediately upon moving in. We couldn’t be happier in this condo, perfect layout, ideal builder/owner and in OUR East St.Paul.

My entire renovation experience with Carrington Property Developments was incredibly easy and I have recommended this company to all of my friends and contacts. Carla was supportive, accommodating, understanding, responsive, and insightful during my renovation experience, which was essentially a gutting of my kitchen and living room spaces on the first floor of my house. The renovation only took 2 months when other contractors quote much more time and inconvenience. I valued that Carla involved her entire family into the process and all the support and assistance received was truly valuable!

My husband and I had the most stress-free experience of anyone we know that has worked with a builder before. Carrington Homes involved us in the process has much we were comfortable with. We could make decisions regarding the details that were important to us and trusted their expertise on the things we knew little about. Since we have moved into our home we have kept in touch and know if any problems arise they will be there to help. We couldn’t be happier with our dream home!

From the first meeting to the last coat of paint, I have nothing but positive comments for Carla and her team. Carla has converted my family home into a place that my son and I can be proud of for a long time. Anyone who has looked for help in renovation understand that this process isn’t easy and the financial and personal stress can be overwhelming. Amplify that with taking on the responsibility of taking the home that you grew up in and transforming it into something special. It was important that I had the right person for the job who could not just build my house but respect the memories that came with a project like this.. If you could see the job she did on the upstairs of my house, you wouldn’t need to read a word I’ve written! When I am ready to finish my basement I would be hard pressed not to call on Carla and her team to take that project to the next level. She has a keen eye for design, a breath-taking work ethic, and exceptional attention to detail. There is not enough space here for me to detail just how good she is.

Carla Devlin and her crew have done lots of work for us at our cottage at the Lake of the Woods. We had our deck covered with Duradeck and a new subfloor….. solved a problem with water leaking into the lower level when it rained, and is aesthetically very pleasing! We had a playroom/movie room attached to our garage which had rot in one corner of the floor! Not only did Carla replace the carpet with a wonderful product but she had the rotten sections removed and replaced with new wood and vapor barrier… end of any future problems! Our lower level in this cottage was leaking, and looking dark and uninviting… the beds were built-in and so difficult to make up! Carla suggested pine on the ceiling and the walls…. as the work progressed we decided to remove all the built-in beds and install barn-style doors on the bedrooms! It’s like a new cottage … bright and inviting. The workmanship is excellent and our guests appreciate the new rooms! I would recommend Carla for her ideas ( current and affordable) and for the quality of the work on her projects. We are looking forward to doing other projects with her.
